Anicetus Odo

About

Anicetus received the B.Eng. degree in Computer Engineering and a Masters (M.Eng.) degree in Electronic Engineering. In 2022, he completed a PhD in Engineering from the University of Dundee, United Kingdom. His research focused on image/video analysis using computer vision and deep learning. He has been involved in interdisciplinary research collaborations involving engineers, veterinarians and experts in the electricity transmission and distribution industry. Anicetus has presented his work at conferences and published in journals. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Biological Sciences (Institute for Global Food Security), Queen’s University Belfast where he is leading the research to develop methods for automated monitoring of welfare challenges in farm animals.
